WELCOME

We are pleased to invite you to attend the Eating Disorders International Conference 2010 (EDIC 2010) which will be held in Kensington, London, from Thursday 11th – Saturday 13th March 2010.

This inaugural conference is being organised by beat, the leading UK charity for people with eating disorders and their families (www.b-eat.co.uk, Registered Charity No. 801343), in association with Wiley-Blackwell – publishers of the European Eating Disorders Review.

The scientific programme will include a wide variety of topics of relevance to psychiatrists, general practitioners, psychologists, clinicians and allied health professionals such as nurses, counsellors, dietitians, occupational therapists, as well as researchers and other healthcare professionals working in the field of eating disorders. The conference will therefore offer an outstanding opportunity for delegates to exchange knowledge, share clinical experiences and discuss the advances in treatment and support.

The organisers are also planning to hold beat’s first National Family Network Day on Saturday 13th March, which will be part of the main conference, providing carers with a valuable opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals working in the field.

We very much hope you will be able to join us at this meeting.
